The Mini Multi-Feeder Unit is a plug-in unit for the ABB / Elster A1700 meters to allow communications between two differing meters via one PSTN /GSM line.
Fitted under the standard terminal cover, between the modem and a RS232 module, it operates by monitoring the communication line from an attached modem and switches the communications path between the two meters.

This allows the collection of data from differing meters without having to drop the telephone line.

 The Multi-Feeder Selector Unit is metering protocol independent, and is designed to work in conjunction with MV90.
